 The Gateway of India

    As tourist in the Mumbai,  you would like to visit landmark of Mumbai city first i.e. Gateway of India. This is great monumental arch of stone having beautiful 'Minaars' on it. As it is situated on the waterfront of Arabian Sea it exhibits most picturesque view.


It was build to welcome King George V and Queen Mary. The British governors used to arrival India through this gate. After Independence in 1948 last British troops leave India by crossing the gateway.

     Almost every tourist in Mumbai visit Gate Way of India and the ferry boats over here helps them to go to Elephanta caves.
